Vi Thuy district: Visiting and working with Tan Long Cooperative

Tan Long Cooperative specializes in organic rice production, creating clean products, is the first unit of the district to successfully build the brand "Vi Thuy clean rice". In the winter-spring rice crop 2020-2021, the cooperative has more than 60ha of organic rice. Recently, the cooperative has been considered by the Provincial Management Board of VnSAT to support the construction of warehouses, rice dryers, and packaging equipment. However, the cooperative is facing difficulties in funding the VnSAT project with more than 1 billion VND.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Vui, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, directed the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Vi Thuy district branch to support cooperatives in accessing loans to implement the project. judgment. At the same time, he agreed to support the cooperative to buy vacuum machines, invest in dredging canals and build 2 open sluices. In addition, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Van Vui asked the cooperative to carry out clean rice production in accordance with the process, absolutely not using fertilizers, chemical drugs, to maintain the brand of clean rice. He also asked the district's specialized branches to regularly provide technical support to the cooperative, promoting the product brand "Vi Thuy clean rice" widely on the domestic and foreign markets.
